Mama, this may come as unexpected and believably so. I was thinking of Dad lately. A lot actually. Remember he was once adamant that I looked into teaching? I heard it again and again from two different people. Enough about that. Thinking of him also made me remember he promised you a Magnolia tree and it never happened but I want you to have these branches. With some care they should be blooming soon. By then we'll have a lot to talk about.
I am sorry our last visit was shorter than you liked. I am also sorry for being brief with you as usual. There are many a things I would love for you to know. To share but sadly I am afraid. It's not safe here in Boston and has not been for some time now. We'll speak more about this when it is time. Perhaps over tea and I'll invite you to the greenhouse. The one I showed you a picture of? Maybe you can meet someone special to me too but one thing at a time. Enjoy the branches and love you much.

I know Julien or your neighbor would be best to read this for you. Here's a little something I've meant to give when you last visited but it's delivery date was delayed poorly. Thank you for filling my apartment and weekend with joy and a little dash of hope. I can't explain how you have done so but you have a little light that needs to shine and also to be protected. The birds have been saying 'poop' more often now and singing a line from that song you sung to them. I'm going to get you and Maya for that! Kidding. Anyway, keep up with school and be good. Hope to see you again soon, lil' miss!

Deante, Hi. You may not know me young King, but I have heard highly of you. The young gents you call friends, Lou, the caretakers of the place that you call home, and myself are thinking of you. With great strength in numbers and added faith, we hope you awaken soon. Fight and show ones motivated by the disease of hate that they will not win this one. A light is shining for you and in addition to these bulbs your friends helped put together, they are hoped to grow in a new home. Someone I know dearly is pulling and fighting in many ways for your return. May Gaea watch plenty over you and usher in proper blessings.
