A clearer mind and energized body was just the medicine required to get through the rest of the day. Claiming the time where one would head to work after school drop offs and seeking morning coffee, started to see that the hour of a mid morning wouldn't go to waste. Lola was spent with the randomized class, dealing with a new apparatus that allowed for the body to extend in ways she knew to be impossible. But the physical reach in anointing the body, came with a cause. It's effect was to grant better mobility and flexibility while discipline carried the precision of feeling more healthier than she did the previous day before. Not leaving on her own, the woman waited near the main entrance of the pilates studio, for Whitney. The two made it a small occurrence to meet up at a class and there after catch a cup of coffee.

Tea was preferable of a choice but so was engaging in conversations not work related or kid modified. She looked out of the window. Eyes scanning the little traffic to the mail carrier dropping off parcels to another business, and the switch of a seemingly non-threatening group of tourists, shift. The staggering perception was thought to be a figment of her imagination until their identities phased in and out. Long enough for 10 seconds before resuming the wholesome curiosity of visitors being lead by a guide. She rubbed her eyes momentarily. wearily coming to a short terms that possibly she was tired. Over exertion was a real thing and made the case of feeling how she felt but she couldn't get the menacing scowls presented when attention shifted towards the studio's windows.

Tides were wavering, taking another route and the lack of sleep could've been to blame. Lack of water even, especially after putting much of her energy in the pilates art. Choosing to sway in the rightful direction, couldn't have last as long if she wanted it to. Just tourists moving down the street. Filed one by one but that set of visitors were more than that. The pinch in her tummy alerted her so. Being within many situations where trouble arose and without warning that she had to think quick. As quick as it took when in the public eye. Her fear of being exposed, especially with the amount of rumored sightings hard to ignore, played along how one had to tip-toe around the world of being a hero in someone's eyes. Too many of her life choices and gifts were in jeopardy of being removed, as easily as her life had been rewritten recently. A detail she was plainly unaware but not as unaware as the path that would be crossed has she escaped the exit. No, no set of visitors would make her lose what little cool she had. A bit startled, she abruptly turned just enough to meet the greeting with a bit of a surprise.

She clutched firmly on her small duffel and purse on the shoulder. Strap slipping off just to have it pulled back on for secure measure. But she had other security issues awaiting outside. Paranoia couldn't have kept her away and inside the doors since another set of women were entering the moment she stepped out of the way. Still, Lola saved the answer to Whitney's question. "Hey, yes. What a great session," enthusiastically a small creased upon her face when slight trepidation was written on it not too long ago. Another look from the corner of her eye and the tourist ensemble began distorting in a blink of an eye. Without resorting to full on panic, she gently placed a hand to Whit's arm in a reassuring way. "No, nothing special. Thought I recognized someone I knew from way back when. Should be get going? I'm making promise on that coffee I owe you," Lola said with a bit of umpth and urgency to her even tone. Before catching a word, she managed to push through the door and gave the street two more looks before pacing in the opposite direction of the group. To others they were tourist but to her, a sense of dread and familiarity was setting in. When the goons collective inducer source was spazzing out. Not due to anything other than the static electric signals being masked with a generous breeze. A breeze that was conjured discreetly.

Nodding, Lola agreed that the air was a bit active than usual. Only it had been her own doing when the optics alone would place a target upon her back. That very sense of danger was just yards away. Coming in deliberately cold at first. With an instant of time on her hands, she had to play the cards as they were being dealt. One specifically was predicated on getting Whitney and even some innocents out of harm's way. It showed in the brisk walk in her steps. The sly look over the shoulder as if she was marking anyone who were familars. Shooting a smile or so as a friendlier greeting since kindness cost so little. It kept the peace for the time being and also cornered where her best shot was to maneuver if that very danger had a lock in their general direction.

"Same. If it were FDA approved, a drip would be enough to sustain us for the rest of the week," she instantly chimed in. "Nothing fun, no..OH I may be having a small class on pot pie making. All up in the air, heh." She waved her hand a bit near her head. Gesturing the tizzy that sometimes a weekend could bring but there was nothing like the upended events caused someone when their personal mental space was filled with a double unrecognizable. She wasn't sure if that was Whit's predicament but at the rate of it occurring, it wouldn't surprise her either if it was.

That stop near the crosswalk was enough to get a greater scan of their radius and narrowed it was with the group edging in closer. Hiding what was given the day it's freedom to bring about the sunshine that motivate so many people on the go.

Slowly she turned her gaze to Whit, and confirmed with a gentle nod. "They are. Play it as cool as you possibly can. We can lose them in a cinch." Her words weren't going to be faulty by nature but they also posed too many complications and consequences. The full rock of the sky detonating, sent those on foot at a stand still. Lola looked behind just enough to see that a charged bolt of lightning so hot allowed the two to parry from further steps in their direction. Causing a surge to disrupt the inducer's coverage. Gasps joined in unison from passerbyers, those in vehicles screeched to full stops, with jamming traffic in their wake. Rubber soles hitched in speed, loosely offering a hand to pull the woman to be less haste in her steps. "The coffee may have to wait, girl!"

Had she known the reason for their presence, a simple answer would've been given. Unlike normal day to day circumstances, it wasn't like her to avoid or watch out for shadowy figures and those associated with a government body that made it their duty to watch over people like her or at the very least make their life hell in a country that was torched for a while. It was compacted to the degree at which all who lived in the margins of existence to have to additionally worry about another facet of dangers that loomed over like a violent storm. As the weather could've proved to be a great distraction to put some distance between the group of faulty tourists, they were stuck between multiple hard places as Lola had to make due with not succumbing to washing out the entire squad with a fistful of power that could decimate the entire coast or even the world if she pushed to her might.

Her hand was held firmly. Warm, maybe even near singing with heat, ready to expel the remnants of electricity to do away with the goons who were tailing them. That intersection was one easy obstacle. Crossing it in a sprint to find another coordinate to either hide or catch the group off guard. The thunderous clap overhead followed them, but not as far behind as wind blew open a car's door. Pulling it from its hinges instaneously, just to fly in the direction of the group who were now on foot. The clattering and loud impact pierced ears and sent out screams or screeches from vehicles seemingly trying to move through traffic. Lola looked behind and briefly to Whit with concern but also dread in her eyes for what had to be done sooner than later. "I cannot explain any of this nonsense but we must keep ahead and draw them further from the public view." It would be proven to be disastrous if damage clamored by either her hand or those pursuing them both.

The thunder dissipated and most screeches and screams were going dull, almost silent as swallowed up to use as ammo from one of the troop's soldiers. Soundwave and energies that expelled from those elements, were inhaled through enormous gulps and before Lola could look back, she grabbed Whit in a hug almost to pull her in low level flight from the sonic projection that destroyed a storefront along with catered in the adjoining wall. The excess of the reverberation, was enough to jostle them from mid-flight and into the ground in a hard fall. Making it difficult to grab any bearings from the sudden go from the opposition.

Ears rung. Something stung and she wasn't aware of the location of pain. But felt it sternly. Even if a shield of armor via the wind encased them both, it scattered upon the throw and fall some feet from the building. Blurred sight immediately focused in and she sorely started levitate. Not enough to cause concern or the pointing of onlookers who weren't fast enough to reach over, just enough to easily rise from the ground. Scrapes against her hand. Items she walked, and then sprinted with flung not far from her. She staggered a little to gather what bearings were available before the next sonic projection would funnel in their direction. She grabbed her purse and bag. Nodding along that she was fine. Had been worse off before and couldn't explain how that absorbed feeling of overcoming a calamity, followed while picking up on the feet which got them out of dodge before.

A sense of direction could've gone all over the place but she focused immediately on Whitney, and branched out her vision long enough to see where the street grid ran from one area to the trail of where the park met. She followed the woman's lead this time to better keep an eye on the group who were no slouches in their pursuit. The cascading ooze in soot led the charge while it's soldiers from the back kept on foot to follow the distractors of their hunt. The intake of a deep breath was like the draw back of the wind. Billowing intensely its opposite direction to circle about through a fissure of alleys and other entryways where buildings had less pressure to absorb the shock of it all, until the beaten concentration triggered the sight of contact dark hues, into a bright exhibition.

She couldn't hold back the rushed slither of air, compounded by speed and a heavier force than before. Knocking into a few like a speeding bowling ball into pins. The topple over only missed two of the troupe, long enough to race through the streets without being hit or worst thrashed across the concrete with the likes of an amassed power. Neve one to underestimate an enemy no matter the levels of aptitude and might, she looked back as the commanding of winds, cylindrical in nature navigated through and between vehicles. Pulling up mailboxes and uprooting light posts, anything to cause the most maze like obstruction.

Arms pumped and she encouraged with a low yell that unified with the menacing overcast as both her emotional status paired in a moderate way of which the level of vexation that took place over the course of minutes. With a point and after running to hatch a plan on the spot, the view of the park was closer and closer. "There!! I do not know how much can he held back without more innocent people being pulled into this botched attempt at a violation. Whatever you do, do not look back."
